Payments & Refunds
Checkout on this site is Stripe. You can pay with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link.
When the license arrives
After payment you land on a thank-you page with the font files. The same files, the license, and a receipt go to the email you used at checkout. Those download links last 7 days. After that, sign in to your account with that email. There is no password. We send a one-time link.
If the browser closed mid-checkout, look in that inbox and in your account first. Once Stripe takes the payment, the order is already on the license record.
Refunds
Retail font licenses are digital goods. We do not refund a completed license because you chose the wrong use, the wrong family, or changed your mind after the files arrived.
File a refund when you were charged twice, the files never arrived, we sent the wrong family, or payment went through and no license appeared. Custom typefaces are quoted and billed on their own terms.
How to file a refund
There is no form on the site. Write mail@trulytype.com with the subject Refund request. Put these in the email:
- The order number from your receipt or account. It starts with TT-.
- The email you used at checkout
- What happened, in a few sentences
- The last four digits of the card, if you have them
We match that against the Stripe charge and the license record. If we refund, the money goes back to the same card or wallet. Keep the fonts unused until you hear from us.
