The best conversations rarely stay on topic. Ulrich was inspired by curator Hans Ulrich Obrist and his way of opening art up to different people and different ideas. That spirit became the starting point for the typeface. Classical glyphic shapes sit beside sans serif forms. Some letters feel rational while others seem to come from somewhere else entirely. A set of alternates lets you decide how far to push it. Choose the quieter characters and Ulrich behaves. Choose the stranger ones and the same word becomes something completely different. We made the pieces. What you do with them is up to you.
