We stop seeing the things we see every day. Everyday started by looking at them again. We studied twenty different typefaces and began stripping away their individual details to see what they had in common. We expected to find something neutral. What came out was warmer and stranger than that. Familiar shapes started to have a personality of their own. Everyday became a typeface about the beauty of things that don't normally ask for attention. It feels like something you've known for years even the first time you use it. Put it somewhere new and somehow it already feels at home.
